The mission statement of Elgin Elementary School is to help students acquire the knowledge, skills, patience and attitudes needed to become healthy, well adjusted, productive adults; and to add academic value to every student at every grade level in order to send exemplary learners to Elgin secondary schools. Parents are considered partners in their child's education, and as such are invited to share in many aspects of their child's learning.
